Since its establishment in 2009, the National Youth Council of Namibia has worked to ensure that young people are active drivers of national development. Through its regional forums and partnerships, NYC connects with thousands of youth across all 14 regions, providing access to education and skills training, health and wellness initiatives, employment and entrepreneurship opportunities, as well as civic and leadership programs. By creating platforms for participation and empowering young people with tools and resources, the Council continues to build a united, inclusive, and prosperous Namibia
